That place is Aladdin Gyro-Cery. I have been eating beef and lamb gyros from Aladdin's since 2007, and have never been disappointed. Whether I stop by during a weekday work lunch, or in a drunken daze on a Friday or Saturday night, this place always hit the spot. Out of all of my visits, 97% of the time I have ordered the lamb and beef gyro combo. For less than $10, I get a delicious and decent sized gyro with thick and plentiful chunks of meat, a side order of fries and a can of soda of my choosing out of the plentiful stocked fridge. The people that work there have always been pleasant, especially the lady who works during the day. She always greets you with a smile, no matter how busy the place might be. Pretentious folks, be warned: this is a no frills place. I have no problem with the interior and have always eaten my gyro there, but I have heard people make negative comments regarding the dining area. The ones that make these comments look like douchebags anyway, so it's no surprise. Aladdin's will always be my go to spot for gyro. Every gyro I eat that is not at Aladdin's (no matter where I am in the world) gets compared to this place, and never once have I ever said, "man, this gyro is better than the gyro-cery." <p>Whenever I am craving a gyro, there is always one place that I think of, regardless of where I am.
